Porygon is not a pokémon. Porygon is QUANTUM SOUL, he is the price to pay for the state of being awesome. Also, this is not Twitter or, uh, Digsby. Whatever that is.

Ahahah, ohgod the memories. Those who really know me know I also have a penchant for collecting video game manuals, and this beauty is a gem from the Adventure Island manual. It's only really startling because it is the only entry on the page with that syntax; Hudson's in-game font could make it easily explained if manual writers that didn't know what, er, numbers were, as the "100" looks almost more like "1oo". But, again, the entry for the cobra is the only one like this, making it a flagrant case of hilariously just... not caring.

Bonus Stage was a flash-drawn gaming webtoon (with very little to actually do with gaming) that had its heyday back in 2002-2006..ish. It took a lot of cues from the stuff Williams Street made for Adult Swim, especially Aqua Teen Hunger Force in that it openly embraced aggressively negative continuity and just as aggressive nonsequitors. I forget which episode this was from, seeing as both the original website and the wiki that it once had are now lost to the internet ether, but the line/moment in question was paraphrased as roughly "Well! I counter your intelligent reply with a HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR", complete with appropriate art. I think I found the icon originally on
strider_orion's LJ, and it was promptly ganked and assimilated.
Bonus Stage, sadly, was too good to last, as Matt Wilson got increasingly disturbed by his fanbase and eventually moved on to bigger and better things. I hear he actually got hired to work on Kappa Mikey, which, like Bonus Stage, never had a proper finish because Matt Wilson is like that.

Castlevania is awesome. Kirby is awesome. Mixing these two things in that one now-infamous bit of Virtual Console promo-fanart made me squee when I saw it in a way that many people nowdays would if you put Kamina's sunglasses onRobert Patterson someone from a popular franchise that DOESN'T suck so bad it sparkles.

Ohgod I forget the name or URL of the site I got this from. It was some spanish-speaking guy who made a bunch of battlecard-type pixel art for a whole GLUT of video-game and anime characters and it was awesome and epic and BADASS. Being that I'm a bit of a Tenshi Sozo/Terranigma fanboy (CURSE YOU, ENIX, FOR GIVING US 7TH SAGA AND NOT THAT) I grabbed the one of its protagonist, Ark, who is likewise awesome and badass. He also holds a special place in my heart because he was one of the first fantasy-themed game protagonists that didn't use a sword as a weapon.
EDIT: Oh derp, I have the website listed on the icon's credits. It's right here now. Fun timewasters include seeing how many characters you actually recognize, and looking to see if your favorite character is there.

Original strip, totally unaltered. Yes, all of that is really from Garfield, "squirt" sound effect and all. Regrettably, Jim Davis/PAWS Inc have wised up to innuendo and a strip like this could never be found drawn in today's newspapers. I really don't like what image compression and JPEG artifacts did to this as an icon, but. This makes for a good "I CAME |3" icon, as well as a "WHY IS ALL THE RUM GONE 8O" icon.

Back in the ancient days of the internet (like, 2005/2006) I used to be an avid reader of Fireball20XL. There was a brief span of time that
filthy_animal drew a Jak and Daxter webcomic on the site... it lasted maybe all of fifteen strips, but one of the early ones had a wonderfully iconnable "wut"/brainbreak expression. Psyguy, the man in charge of FB20XL, went right to work on it, and this happens to be one of the icons.
Ironic twist: I hadn't actually RP'd with any Jak/Daxter players, or played any of the games on my own, by that point. I hadn't seen the Clerks cartoon, either. I had no basis of having the icon other than the fact it made me giggle.

OH SHIT IT'S TIME FOR RP ACCOUNTS GDIT NIKI XD
I think I got this pic somewhere on a Touhou icon comm when I was trolling for Sakuya art? I just like this icon because it's ever so casual, and you KNOW that every maid in existence, not just the ones that work for vampires, do this. THEY WILL ALWAYS LISTEN IN ON YOUR CONVERSATIONS.

Oh geez. This is the cover art for a dojin titled "Magical Maid Magical Sakuyan" (sic) which, like all of ANGELTYPE's works, is entirely on all sorts of crack and basically is a 12-page excuse to show Sakuya in fanservicey shots and basically take the piss out of Mahou Shoujo anime cliches and tropes. It's also where I got this:

Did I get this from DeviantArt or Pixiv? I forget. Either way, it is Guildmaster Wigglytuff's already ambiguous nature cranked up to eleven and made even more FAAAAAAAAAABULOUS. He would totally fit in at a gay pride rave. Does he dazzle you?

youkaiwiggly moe. Gotten from pixiv, and is probably the most unfuckinggodly twee thing I have ever seen. I really have nothing else to say.

Oh cripes, I have NO IDEA who made this icon. I found it as some guy's forum avatar, stole it for my own, and then at some point afterwards proceeded to CREEP THE UNHOLY FUCK out of a furry I hardly knew because apparently he was an ex of the guy who drew it. I don't even fucking know, man.
My reaction to the concept is roughly akin to that in the icon.
