This was actually from a Dueling Analogs strip, as shown. I needed a good "WTF PSYCHO" icon, and what better than Mario re-enacting Kubrick's The Shining? Bonus points for the fact that a) instead of a fire axe (movie) or sledgehammer (original book), Mario has a thematically appropriate pipe wrench, and b) IT'SA MEEEEE, MARIO!
Originally from a DeviantArt pic of various Sonic lulz-worthy retardations (Another icon-worthy one would be KNUX'S NEW LOOK OMG KAWAII DESU), I originally cropped and colored that panel for a RP journal, but it so perfectly encapsulates my opinion of Sonic the Hedgehog (the character, not the game series) - why anyone puts up with someone so obnoxious, dorky, and obviously mired in the 1990s is beyond me.
I forget who I yoinked this icon from, but in a community I regularly socialize with (you know who you are), I've been personified as a Bidoof due to my overuse of the :B emoticon and my tendancy to epitomize the word "DERP". I believe what truly solidified it was an incident that ended up with me eating pants in an entirely nonsexual manner (please, don't ask) and it's just been second nature from there. :B
Ah, Bonus Stage. It truly strikes me as what Penny Arcade would be if it were an animated flash cartoon (or what Robot Chicken would be if it had an ongoing plot); totally irreverent, overloaded with blatant pop-culture references, and driven on Everyone Wants You Dead humor. This particular clip was from an episode - I forget which one - which had the following line: "I counter your intelligent reply with HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR", given the visual aid. It along with several of the zomg BURN moments (BUUURN ALMIGHTAAAY!) was one of the more grin-worthy moments that didn't need any explanation to much of anyone.
Ever since I was a kid, I've always had a love for dragons. Sleeping Beauty started it, to be perfectly honest; While she was creepy and evil as an evil witch/fairy thing, Maleficent turned into absolute BADASS SPEWING GREEN FIRE AND SHIT AT YOU at the movie's climax. However, as with all Big Bads in Disney movies, she had to meet her end - albeit with a bit more blood than would ever fly in a Disney film ever in this day and age. The quote is from Wicked, the musical prequel to The Wizard of Oz - a soundtrack I fully endorse in the fullest, even if I've never had a chance to cough up the $200 it would be to go see the show itself at the Pantages. Mixed together, they make a good "life is giving me plenty of karmic backwash" icon.

Really, Silver is just a gigantic joke. Not even in the "unintentionally funny" way Shadow is. It's more the trainwreck, "I can't believe I'm laughing at this poor retard I'm a horrible person" sort of joke that you get from, say, watching Manos: The Hands of Fate.

Sonic, well, admittedly is a lot better in Sonic X and in Sonic Adventure/SA2/Sonic Riders. Heroes/Shadow/Sonic 2006, on the other hand... eugh. Plus, Archie Comics' Sonic is the biggest douchebag ever.
