It is 3:28.. in the MORNING.

I don't know why I'm writing this. Probably because I never write enough in this thing anyway. I'd give a status check, but the same things as usual are keeping me from writing (a) I'm a lazyass b) I'm a pervert, c) MMOs).

First order of business, I supposes: Overhaul to my friends list.

Friend-ized: [livejournal.com profile] lucca1, [livejournal.com profile] degraine, both've you've been friends of mine on a literal level for a while, it's only fair I add you on my own end. Especially after all the offers of sex I've given you both. Errrr, wait. *innocent whistle* *hammer on the /clear command*

Stalked (aka added to friends list but not friended back yet): [livejournal.com profile] jchance, [livejournal.com profile] chaoscheebs.... christ! I haven't seen either of you in somewhere upwards of a year or two! Hell, one of you got -married-. o.o; You two were the whole reason I regret leaving the MSTing scene, despite the fact I wasn't too good at it and it always seemed to fill me with hate for the world. I'd love to get to talk to you two again, -especially- you, Chancey. We have a lot to catch up on in your life, I gather.

[livejournal.com profile] hcuz, you on the other hand.. well, if Xyzzy likes you, I sure as hell do. Even if you haven't let me into your SEKRIT CLBU yet. Plus, it's thanks to you having JC on your journal that I rediscovered him and Chibi again. I owe you -something-.

Being stalked by: [livejournal.com profile] kytha ...who are you? What is it about you that I do not understand? Did I accidentially roll you into one of my katamari of love and starryness?

...yeeees. About that.
PART THE NEXT ONE: Current game addictions.
a) City of Heroes: Has died off recently thanks to the other entries in this list, as well as interest for new and coming games, such as Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. This has replaced Ragnarok Online as my game of choice when I want to mindlessly level for a few weeks. I have a very explicit record of subscribing for a month, and then cancelling within that same month. I'm that way with MMOs. Unlike most, though, THIS keeps my characters when I unsubscribe, and also doesn't SUCK LIKE TOENAILS.

b) Katamari Damacy: ROLLING UP COWS AND PEOPLE AND BUILDINGS AND THUNDER GODS 4 TEH WIN PLZ K THX. Seriously. WTF Japanesedom at its best. Nobody in my family understands why I love this game so, but that's because they don't appreciate how beautiful the particular strain of insanity that Japanese people have is. This is one of those games that proves that graphics is only half the equation of good gaming: It's god damn fun enough that you FORGET that all the graphics are vaguely PS1ish.

c) Maple Story: Sidescrolling MMO. Naturally, as all MMOs I seem to find interest in (save for CoH), it is:
*Korean
*Hideously anime-looking
*Free and in beta-testing stages
*Populated by approximately 80 million people from Thailand and Singapore. 5555555555555555 no jam liao.

I need not say more, I don't think. Aside from those points, imagine Wanderers from Ys except better, or Popful Mail except worse. And also, MMO. Meaning lag, kill-stealing, and... yeah.

d) TMNT2: Battle Nexus: Holy crap. It's a side-scrolling beat'em'up that allows 4 players! AND HOLY SHIT IT IS FUN TO PLAY THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE HOW CAN THIS BE GUUUAH. That it has the ORIGINAL TMNT arcade game as an unlockable bonus is icing, in case you get sick of hearing Teenage Mutant Ninja One-liners. The racing levels are particularly annoying, but one can ignore those.

e) Tales of Symphonia/Star Ocean 3: I have both of these games. I need to play them. Sadly, they both pale in compariason to rolling up living creatures into my Katamari. Though, come to think of it, Namco wins either way in this fight. Either Katamari Damacy or ToS... which is not to speak of Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits, the SINGLE SOLITARY reason so far that I would want a Nintendo DS.

PART MAYBE THE FINAL ONE: Rant-ish comments.

1) I am voting for Not Bush, and unless you SERIOUSLY agree with his policies, you should too. I won't deny people their opinions, but 'I'm voting for Bush because he's the Republican candidate!' is not an opinion, it is a stupid. You don't need to vote for Kerry, though in this day and age it seems like voting for third parties is electoral suicide. All you need to do is Do Not Vote Bush. Unless, as I said, you like having him in office, in which case I'll have to reconsider why you're reading my journal.

2) I am going to go back to college this upcoming semester (and I have found that tuition has MORE THAN DOUBLED during the span of A SINGLE YEAR wtf) with renewed hope and FINALLY a major - I'm planning on majoring in Journalism (for you 'major' newbies, that's English without the emphasis on reading) and minoring in Music Theory. Yes, I plan on being a music critic.

3) I still work at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center. Please, try not to bring that up. I am so fucking SICK of hearing about these god damn flu shots. I wouldn't really mind half as much, except it seems like everyone who calls about them randomly contracts a fit of Fucking Whineitis when they touch their phone. Please, I know you want your vaccinations, but when you fucking WHINE all it makes me hope is that you actually DO get what you're afraid of and you fucking KEEL OVER. *ahem* Sorry. Sore spot. Shouldn't have brought it up.

4) You notice how I go like this, no entries or a few crappy entries for a span of two to three months, then have a blog-binge? I'm like a goth with a pause button.

..except I don't like black makeup or dark gods. Though I do think Raven from Teen Titans is cool.

5) Yes, I'm still a furry. Yes, I'm still bisexual. No, I'm not changing. Unless I change my gender, but the chance of that happening is slightly less than the chance of a braindead quadraplegic doing well at Dance Dance Revolution.

6) Speaking of which.. DDR has gotten old. Not because it's -bad-, but because there is NO NEW MUSIC. I can't really play well at home, so I'm left with my computer, fan-made stepcharts and the occasional sporadic home DDR release which I enjoy maybe a few weeks. Konami, you used to be #1 in my heart, and then travesty after travesty came -
*Yu-Gi-Oh lost ground to Pokemon:TCG when I realized I could win the game in YGO by simply -drawing- any of seven or eight cards that say, simply, "you win the game". More victory 'conditions' does not mean more strategy, it means shorter matches.
*Suikoden III. I need not say more. Also, Suikoden IV looks like Waterworld. That will either be a phenomenal success (like Wind Waker) or a dismal failure (like..uh... Waterworld). Either way, outlook not rosy.
*BRING OUT MORE DDR ARCADE MIXES GNAR GNASH GNASH. OR AT LEAST GIVE US A NEW GUITAR FREAKS GAME. NOT ALL OF US BEMANI FANS LIKE PLAYING BEATMANIA IIDX AND POP'N MUSIC.

If it weren't for Castlevania and Gradius, I might be convinced that Konami died in the late 90's.

...IT IS NOW 4:08. IN THE MORNING. ..I should seriously get some fucking sleep. Ungh.

...Yes, I have a new icon.

I am suck at the sprite editing. But to be honest? It really doesn't look TOO much worse than Maple Story's usual graphics...
