i used to wonder what shadows could be
until you all said "no, this isn't me!"


SO. I've been reading the Persona 4 LP today, and, being the "CROSS OVER ALL THE THINGS" style of fanboy, I kind of... ended up brainstorming pony shadows, and what they'd say.

Yeah.

You don't get anything for guessing who is who, though past the two "obvious" answers, it's a bit trickier than I would've initially thought.

• "It's all for her. All of it. I'll do anything, for her. I'll befriend every last pony on the planet, I'll throw away everything I spent my entire life working for. If she wants me to kill a pony... I'll do it, you know? And if she still won't accept me after that... then maybe I'll have to make her accept me. It's the least she can do... it's her existence that's ruined my life... I'll make her love me like I love her... it's what she deserves... what I deserve..."
  
  
• "I'm a monster... everypony has seen it, everypony knows it now. But... you know what? I like it. I like hearing them flee when I come near, I like the thought of them bowing before me in reverence. Worship me, fear me, fall before me!"
  
  
• "I'll show them, I'll show them all. I don't need friends, and I certainly don't need family! Individuality is not only a strength, cameraderie is a burden! Only in solitude can I achieve my greatest dreams! If I have to stomp on others to get there, well, so be it."
  
  
• "I have to make them all proud, make them all happy. But... they're making me like things. Like things that are bad for my image. It's all about the image... I have to be the most popular. If I'm not... then there's nothing left. But if I can't even be popular with my 'friends', what chance do I have? They're changing me, and I like it... but they're going to ruin everything.
